The final scpre.was Feilding 4, Horowhenua 1. In the women's section, Rangitikei B were lucky to seeure a win over Horowhenua by 2 — 1. A battie royal • resulted when Rangitikei juniors met Horowhenua B, but neither side scored. I After the games the visiting. teams expressed thanks to tlie local committee for the excellent day's outing and at afternoon tea which had been provided by a women's committee. Comment was also passed on the good condition nf* the grounds despite the -heavy rain which had fallen in the .morning. Players are reminded that entries for the five and seven-a-side tournaments close on Wednesday, September 8. .
