Preparations For Coming Of Royal Baby

Her baby is due early in Oetober and preparations are already going ahead at Buekingham Palace. The Daily Mail says this will dash Scotland's liopes, but P^rineess Eliza beth has told the Seottish people that it0 is her speeial wisli that London should be the baby's Itirthplaee. The royal baby after it is born wiil have a one hundred-year-old cot and a pram used by Elizabeth and JMargaret when they were babies. The cot was recently taken from the palace attic and has been newlv painted and up holstered in white whicli the Princess selected beeause it was suitable for a boy or girl. The pram has been sent from Windsor Castle to a West End finn for the renewal of the upholstery and repainting. Xurseries have been prepared in Duekingham Palace, also at Sunningdale where it is believed the Princess will take the babv a month or six weeks after its birth. The Princess is in good health and has been taking walks and, sewing baby elotlies. Court circles say she and tlu Duke are both ho[)ing for a boy ai thougli the Princess won't be disap pointed if it is a girl.
