Women's Division Holds Sale Of Work
The sum of £-51 was -raised at' a sale of Work held by the Ohau „ ..iranch of the Women's Division of Federate,d Farmers in the Ohau Hail ■ this week, The numerous stalls were in eharge- of the following: — Cake stall, Mrs. W. G. Benning; work stall, Mrs. Lyall Coles; produce stall, Mrs. J. Guerin; flower stall, Mrs. Callender; jumble stall, Mrs. W. Mudge; ice cream stall, Mrs. H. Murray. Competitions, which were m the capable hands of Mrs. Hudson, were won by Mesdames Mudge, 3urt, Cheesman, Frew and Ferrell. Mesdames F. S. Allen and F. M. Routley judged the gingerbread competition, which was won by Mrs. H. J. McLeavey. Most enjoyable items were presented by the pupils of the Jean Scott School of Dancing and Mehi Whiley (recitations) . Afternoon tea arrangements were ably carried out under the supervision of Mrs. H. S. Saint, while arrangements for the children's afternoon tea were in- the nands of Mrs. W. O. Neas.
