The fact that Sister Kenny 's treatment for infantile paralysis had been introdueed into New Zealand during her occu'p'aney of the health portfolio had given her particular gratifieation, said the Minister of Health (Miss Howard) at tod'ay's &nhual conference Of the New Zealand Crippled Children Society. Two Kenny women technicians, who had been wofking -at the Auckland Hospital, had left last week on their' return to the United States. Howevet, an Australian male technieian was still at the -W aikato Hospital, Hamilton, aird it was hnped to make nse of him later as a teacher of the Kenny me'tliod. All t'lii-ee, the Minister added, ha*d met with the greatest assistance from the medical profession, and for that she expressed her gratitude. "It was not always so," aho said. • Dr. W.
