As a la-baurer, he pr-eached a "farewell" sermon there- 40 years ago. Leaving frem the bus stand at !4 o'clock on Friday afternoon, representative football and basjketball teams from the local {Punahau dubs will 'journey to i Moawhango, near Taihape, to -.engage in matches with the Huia |Maori teams. The junior footbaljlers will play for the Mako Mako iCup, while the basketball matches jwill be of a frien'dly nature only. ,Mr-. J. Graham will travel as manager of the footballers, while Mr. N. H. Kingi will manage the basketballe'rs.
