McDonald, of Moutoa, returned home on Saturday after spehding a month's holiday at Picton. Card Winners The card evenings being conducted each week in Laurvig's Hall by the Poutu Pah Committee are stil'l attracting a good following. Last week's winners were Mrs. E. Thorne and Mr. Jacob Hicamate. 90th Birthday Cele.brated The 90th birthday of Mrs. Crowther, of Clapham Street, was celebrated recently when members of the family from all parts of the "North Island gathered at her resi'dence to wish her "many h^ppy returns."
