Floods Render Thousands Homeless In Sind
Received Monday, 9.30 a.m. KARACHI, Aug. 22. Two hundred thousand acres Of Sind are now,. flooded, clamaging lice crops arid making 200,000 people homeless, said Mr. Ghulamalai Talpur, Revenue Minister of Sind Province, who has just returned from the flooded areas. He added that the situatioh had become worse with the breach in the banks of the Indus widening. .
