Tomorrow will see the playing off of the last game in the third round of the senior rugby champlonship'. "If Hui Mai . wins its game against Shannon, there will be a play off with the winner of . the Athletic- Wanderhrs game. In the Nash Cup competition, which is decided over the final championship round, Athletjc is in , the lead • with two points- more than Wanderers, so that" if Wan- * derers win there will be a tie ;f or ) the cup. ~ Also finishing the third and final round af its competition is ' the junior grade. In the northern division, Punahau are the winners of the Licensed Victuallers' :.Cui>--. competition and- will play the southern division winners in- the final. If Athletic wins their game against Tokomaru • they will win the northern seetion of'the oham- r' pionship. If they do not have mecess on Saturday, then 'there will be a play off between them - and Punahau, In the southern end there -are two. teams in the running for the> Licensted Victuallers' Cup, Rahui and Hui Mai. These two teams piay on Saturday and the winner - will win the southern. seetion of the cgmpetition. Paraparaumu - is in the lead in the championship games, with Rahui two points behind. Paraparaumu, however, have a bye so xf Rahui- wins its game this week tbere will be a piay off between them and Paraparaumu for the southern sectiqn of the championship.
In the third grade, Qld Boys A has a five points' lead'.
