This information on the mental attitude of poliomyelitis patients was given in an interview by Miss J. Truax, of Pennsylvania, one of the two Kenny technicians wlio have been employed by the Auckland Hospital Board for the last six months. Their contract completed, Miss ; Truax and her co-worker, Mrs. V. Hortcm, of Mlnneapolis, will leave jshortly for the United States, 'where they will take up new posi'tions. | While in Auckland they did not train any students in the Kenny technique, as it is a two-year course. The two technicians worked side by side with the hospital physiotherapists. Their stay here had been an enjoyable one, Miss Truax said. They had foimd the atmosphere at the hospital friendly and cooperative and they had fitted in with the routine of the Nurses' Home where they stayed.
