"I think the time has come when we can look to great things from our\ teams," sai'd the pr-esident of the -Horowhenua Rugby Union, Mr.A. Gillespie; at a meeting of the advisory committee on Tuesday night. The members had been discussing the fine performances and victories of the representative teams. last Saturday. The union's congratulations w-ere extended to the' teams, managers, selectors an'd coaches of the senior A and B teams and the third grade fifteen. Congratulations were also extended to Gordon Sciascia, who has been selected for the Maori All Black team, an'd to the eight members of the Horowhenua clubs who have been chosen to play in the . All Black trials at • Wanganui on Saturday.
