Rugby Union's Explanation Accepted By Referees

Following on the threat by the Horowhenua Rugby Referees' Association not to appoint referees to games until the Horowhenua Rugby Union had withdrawn what it felt was a vote of no-confidence, a letter was received at last night's meeting of the association from the union unreservedly withdrawing any inferences whiqh a recommendation from it might have made. The association formally accepted the explanation and the activities of the 'association and the making of appointments Will continue as usqal.
