Play Centre To Move To New Home Soon
A committee' meeting of the Levin Nursery Play Centre was held recently, Mrs. H. B; Burdekin presiding bver • a good' attendance of members. • Arrangements were made for the transfer of the Play Centre from Sf. Mary's Hall to the Sglvatlon Army Hali, it being hoped to coramence the term in the new quarters. The supervisor's report showed an increase in at.tendanees. Miss Atack and Mrs, Lqvell recently visited a Wellington Play Centre and found m.uch of inte'rest in the form of equipmqnt. A sub-committee was set up to purchase more interesting and entertaining eq.uipment for Ihe local centre, " • A. request hasvbeen receivevl from 'interested mothers for the service 6f;p,,,.taxi proprietor to take children to and from, the centre, Tt was decided that if there was sufficient ^qpport fptthcoming, •' the' ' taxi might be a worthwhile venture.
