LEVIN COLTS OUTCLASSED
The game between Levin Colts and Rahui ended in favour of the latter by the wide margin of 13 goals to two. There were some bright moments, however, and Colts were up against Jt in turning out short of two players. They drew first "blood" McMinn racing away from the opening b^lly, to net. Rahui promptly retaliated, and within three minutes of commencement of play, the score was one all. The game carried^ on at a terrific pace for a portion of the first half, but Rahui were far more experienced than the youthful visitors, and the latter als'o were definitely having an uphill fight, several efforts breaking down owing to there being insufficient players to back up efficiently. Half time saw Rahui leading by eight goals to -one, R. Windley Senr., and R:. Windley, Jnr., between them having scored seven times, and F. Thorpe once. Reinforcements were enlisted at half time, but it was too late, as although they still gave quite a good .exhibifion, the Colts were played out :after the torrid pace set in the first half. Gardner scored for Colts in the second half, and Rahui added another five goals, two of which could be classed as lucky ones, as the goalie performed some great antics in attempting to savei but he had no luck. Fixtures for next Saturday1 are as follows: — Ladies: Raukawa B v. Levin, at Otaki, 3 p.m.; Raukawa A v. College, at Otaki, 1.45 p.m.; Rahui v. Tcxtile B, at Levin, 1.45 p.m.; Textile A, a bye.'
