KIMBERLEY'S MEETING
In the absence of the .president, Mrs. Dome, the Kimberley institute 's monthly meeting was presided over by the vice -president, Mrs. Crowe. ; An earnest endeavour to aid the parcels for Britain- campaign was apparent. For this purpose a bring-and-buy stall was conducted. A baby^' hand-knitted coat,- donated by Mfs. Coulsdn, realised £4. The proceeds of a card evening, organised by Mesdames Benning and Buft, were handed in, dnd also nuirierous tins of fat. The Levin Farm will benefit by gifts" of old stockihgs, iaces, buttons and buckles, all requirements for a handcraft scheme. It was also decided to make a donation to the ' leper fund. The speaker for the afternoon was Rev. G. B. Stdte-Blandy, who interested all with an address on Dorset. He also exhibited some par- . ticularly fine photbgraphs and water colour sketche's in illustration j of his talk. • \ Competitions resulted as follows: '• — President's competition, jar of bulbs: Mrs. Evans 1, Mrs. Aitchison 2, Mrs. Crowe 3." Best flower: Mrs. Evans 1, Mrs. Crowe 2, Mrs. Small 3. Best spray: Mrs. Small 1, Mrs. Crowe 2, Mrs. W. Griffith 3.
