WELLINGTON, Aug. 12, The Building Cojntrol Regulations prohibiting the use of copper and^aluminium spouting and downpipes, have been re'laxed by a-notiee gazetted tonight. The Miniscer, of Works, Mr. Bemple, in a statement, said the new regulations permitted ihe use of either | copper. or aluminium for spoutuig. and downpiping for housing, purposes, both | for repairs and fbr njew) work.
