• WELLINGTON, August 12. A shipmqnt of edible whale meat, the first consignment this year, will leavc Wellington for London tomorrow in the Shaw Savill cargo vessel Taranaki. The shipment of 2200 cases eontaining one pound tins, will be followed next rnonth by smaller qnantities. The total whole meat sent>to Britain this year would amountho only about 50 tons, said the manager of the Picton firm which cans the meat.
