WELLINGTON, August 12. The barque Pamir was 343 miles from New Zealand today, according to a radio meseage received this afternoon from Captain H, S. Gollier by the Union Sfcam Ship Company. The Pamir, was making sixvknots and was rough ly westsouthwest of Cape Reinga, the noVthernniost point of New* Zealand. She had covered .120 miles the previous day and 781 miles in the last seven days. She is no iv 520 miles from Auckland where she should arriye early next week. From now until the Pamir 's arrival at Auckland, she would send radio- messages daily, reporting her progress and if anything noteAVorthy oceurred, said a Union Go. official.
