Some 50 members of the men's :ection' of the Levin Gbif Ciub ebm= peted in a fouruad bogey .match on iaturday afternoon. Soon after the jommeneefnent of play steady rain, vVhjch' cpntinued at ' intervals ^hroughput the afternoon, made .onditions extr'emely unpleasant and scoring generally suitered lecordingly. Oi the cards handed iji tl^e b'est scores came from- the altimate winners, A. Saunders and A, E. Hastbdt, who teamed .'excep^iphally well to card five up. D, PTodd and W. S. Ogier were runners-up with three-up, while A. C. Ki'ng and H. Buh were third with two up. Next Saturday's Fixture ,A decisive round in the NicholSPh Cup series is to be played on Saturday next, and a medal round wid ilso be played in conjunction.
