NEW PLYMOUTH, August 8. More than two hours of . artiiieial > rospiration -saved'-'the' life of a four-year-old child, Peter Boswell, of Ohakune, after he was found iioatiug in a swimming liole by his mother. He is the son of Mr. L. A. Boswell, a school teaeher at Ohakune, and a grandson of the New Zealaud Minister to Bussia, Mr. C. W. Boswell. .. ' Mrs. Boswell disc.overed t]te child ,iu a swimming iiple .iu a cre'ek at 'Ohakune and" wadiug ilitd -the water, bropght Mm to the bank where she collapsed. 'Mrs.' L. W. Ivirkby heard her call and went to the spot. While Mrs. Boswell was taken to her home, Mrs. Kirkby applied artiiicial respiration until the arrival of a doctor.
