Little Hope Of Settlement In Hyderabad
Received Monday, 10.50 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 8. Hope of a peaceful Indo-Hydera-oad setulement has faded, says the Assoeiated Press' Bombay correspondent. The Indian SoCialist Party's "struggle" committee has urged youths to enter Hyderabad and crganise "workers and peasants for a clash with the totalitarian gangsters." Hyderabad merchants have cabled the. British Prime Minister, Mr. Attlee, expressing surprise at the recent denial "by him in the Hbuse o'f Commons that Hyderabad was economically blockaded. The Hyderabad Government today deecribed as "a campaign of lies possibly designed to pave the way for a full militaty attack;' Indian reports of a civil uprising in Hyderabad. (Bombay newspapers claim the virtual collapse of the Hyderabad Government's authority.)
