WELLINGTON, Aug. 5. The question of the ipclusion oi Maori players or players of Maori
extracrion m the team to tour South Africa was briefly discussed at today's meeting of the council of the New Zealand Rugby Union. Fuil discussion, which it was indicated would be taken in committee, was deferred till later in the ineet-j ing. The debate was postponed to, allow Messrs. A. Su-therland and: Kingi Tahiwi, representatives of; the Maori .Advisory Board, anj opportunity to be present. i Mr. S. S. Dean expressed the opinion that the matter was per-; fectly simpie. "If a man has any. trace of Maori- blood at all, he, should be regarded as not available; i for '-South 'Africa. .1 belieye that| there is only one piayer concernedj in this particular trial." .
