Remember Arbor Day
On the first Wednesday in August New Zealanders have a special opportunity of repaying something of their debt to those who long ago planted the trees of which this generation is now reaping the benefit. Planting well chosen trees in suitable.sites on Arbor Day is a good way of contributing. to the future amenities of New Zealand, where all too many places lack the quiet and restful background that wellgrown trees can give. — N.Z.
