Ginders, Gdlden Gate, who that day, were celebrating their silver wedding. Enthusiastic conimeht was. also made on the forthcoming Royal visit to New Zealand. J Miisic was supplied by a professional dance band and Mr. W. G; Pope, with his huhiorous interiudes, helped as M.C. to make the evening siibh a stiCceas. The immense. work of dfgahisatioh fdr the function was carried out by Mesdames K. Bradey, J. R. Nash, H. Rigger, and Bruce Harve'y. j
