WELLINGTON, Aug. 2. On the direction' of the Solicitorjleneral . H. E. Evans, K.C., a stay ;f prooeedings against the 34-year-)id woman who was charged last week with the murder of Barbara 'ffisie Puilar, at Palmerston North n May 6, 1948, was entered by Mr. J. J. Thompson, S.M., in the Magisrate's Court toflay. Accused's name ,vas suppressed last week by oi'der •f the court. The Solicitor-General said that is he was satisfled tbat accused wasf unsound. mind, (,she had been committed to a mental hospital.
