Whitetield, successfuly completed her sea trials off the New South WrIpf coast today. The work of- ,ref onyertiutf the Aorangi, begnn in Mareh,, il,9i6ji'at the epd of her war service, is nearing eompletion and she.will leaye.- Sydnev on her first postwar voyage to Van,couver on August 19. The cost 6f reconvcrsion is estimated at more than £1,000,000. On her trials 'tddav ti" liner carried 300 'gnests of'tha com'paTi* and more than 100 workmen who arr rusliing to eompletion the linal stafrf of refitting.
