New Shoe Store Opens Tomorrow
After several weeks of preparation, Wallace's new shoe store wili open tomorrow. This store is very modern indeed apd should prove an asset to Levin and district. The colour scheme of the shap is unusual but very effective, being in a pale peach shade with burgandy trimmings, and the floor is covered with a heavy quality carpet to tone. The very -latest in fluorescent lighting has been installed and this also matches the colour scheme. The chrome and plastic fittings leave little to be desired. The policy of the firm will be to stock only. high grade shoes in American fractional fittings, and to this end the staff have been specially trained by an expert in the shoe business. Men will be catered for as well as women and a separate section of the store has been made for fitting male .shoe 'wearers. Also a special shoe will be stocked for kiddies in fractional fittings and it is predicted that many mothers will be interested in this line. Wallace's are to be congra,tulated 011 the enterprise they have shown in opening a shoe store of which Levin should be very proud.
