WELLINGTON, July 30. A blankct increase iu tariJi rates for Now Zealand hotels was sought by a deputation from the New Zealand Lieensed Vietualiers' Association when it met the Priee Tribuual today. No finality was reached in these represeutation's but it is underwood Ihe TribunaJ liiay eonsidcr increased turiff rates for soute groups of hotels wbich liave been most affected by rising costs, labour and materials. It was pointed out by the Tribunal that in some cases increases in tariffs had already been allowed. The Association will probably meet the Price Tribunal -again next week to eoatiaue its aegotiatious.
