AUCKLAND, July 22. The Governor-General, Sir Bernard Freyberg, V.C.. and Lady Freyberg concluded their three weeks' cruise of South Pacitie Islands today. Disembarking from the New Zealand cruiser Bellona at Suva early this morning, their Excellencies joined a Nation al Aifways Corporation flyingboat at Laucala Bay and landed at Auckland this afternoon. His Excelleney was-attended by Major Wigram, M.O., inilitary secretary, and Lieut.enant Loram, R.N., and Flight Lieutenant Cole, D.F.C., aides-de-camp. ' Lady Freyberg was aecompanied by Miss Rosemary Elev. The High Commissioner .for Western Hamoa, Lieutenant-Colonel F. W, Voeleker, travelled to New Zealand with the, Viee-Reg^l party. He wil] discuss Samoan affairs with- the Prime ifinister, Mr. Fraser, before returning to Apia about the middle of next month. Their Excellencies wil} travel tomorrow to -Wellington yvhere thev will resume residence at Government Hou^e.
