With the advent of jbetter golfing weather and the eommencement of the season's major fixtures, which always pro- ; duce some stern and interesting struggles, the attendance oi . players on the Levin Club's "Cheslyn Rise" links is steadily in- ■ creasing. ■ . . ; This winter the club is probably experiencing its most ■ successful post-war season. The membership in bpth the men's and ladies' sections has increased appreciably, while an enthusiasm unequalled for some time is thc keynote of all competitions.
Generally speaking, the weather has been phenomenaily good to the men's section ever ' since activities began. Last weekend in particiuar piaying conditions could aimost bej described as perfect. . Early in the seaspn the ladies' section, which plays its matches on Wednesday of each week, had several days of unfavourable weather, but 'they have been more fortunate in recent weeks.
