AUCKLAND, July 16. A New Zealand cancer patient who had been unsueeessfully treated by JVIf. ,T. Braund, of Svduey, has' died at the' Waihi Public Hos]iital. She was M rs. I I). E. .1. Davey, of Waihi. AeconF panied by lier husband Mrs. Davey flew to Sydney 011 April 14 last and commenced the Braund t-reatment. Bub' sequently slie was admitted to the Sydney Ilospital where her lower jaw was temporarily remdved. She returned' to Auckland by air 011 June '2. Td assist in Ihe expenses of tlie trip td Sydney Waihi residents raised .over £200. She is survived by her husband' and four children.
