NELSON, July 15. Tlie action of a small boy who took the number of a car coneerned in an accideut, was commended by Mr. Justice Cornish in the Snpreine Court. The boy was liohin II. Currin, aged 12. Ile was a witness in a case before tlie Court on Tuesdav and tlie lad was brought before his Ilonour this morning, "I was.verv pleased with your prompt acfion in taking the number of tlie car in Washington Valley," said the Judge. "You showed prom])tness," resource and quick thinking and enabled tlie police to trace the car which had been involved in the aceident. As the result of your doing that a small boy wlio was lmrt was able to -get. a sum of mouey which was not at all iiliberal, froni the owner of the car and vyhaf was more important, the law- was put in action and enforeed.
