DUNEDIN, July 14. A recent decision of Mr. H. ~SR. Bundl e, S.M., that the English judgment compelRng traffic coming from a side road to give way to main road trafl3c, superseded the New Zealand. right hand rule was discussed by the Automobile Association (Otago) last night. The subject was raised by Mr. W.*J. Mclnnes, a member of the executive, who said there were two conflieting sets of law and it was the duty of the association to point out to the motorist that the right hand rule was not absolute. The danger to children and, to the motorist was emphasi'sed by Mr. D. Forsyth. , If information was dispensed by the Trahsport. Department that one rule had to be obeyed and a judgment in a court case was different altogether, a danger existed. It was resolved to forward a remit 3il the question to the annual "mieeting 3 € the South Island Motor XJnion.
