Shannon Defeat Levin At Badminton
In the last match of . the first found of the Horowhenua Badminton Association's inter-club competition, played in the Druids' Hall, Shannon, on Monday evening, the Shannon A grade team defeated Levin by 13 games to 11. Pigott beat Mrs. B; Antcliff . 15— .4, Miss J. Parr lost to Mrs. M. Leger 8 — 15, Miss A. Pedersen lost to Miss J. Benning 12 — 15, Miss H. Gardner beat Miss D. Benning 15 — 7, Miss D.
