Pike had last week completed 25 years of service as a volunteer fireman., In congratulating Fireman Pike, Superintendent C. Sharp stated that his record was something he coul'd be justly proud of and that he had attained what ev'ery man in the room was aspirmg for. He added that Fireman Pike's achievement was all the more noteworthy in view of the fact that he had borne the scares of battle for the past 20 years.
