WELLINGTON, July 12. The New "Zealand harque Pamir was 550 miles southeait of, Capetown and entering the Indian Ocean on Sunday, - accprding to the latest megsage reeeived from the ship by 'the Union Steam bhip 'Company. * She was running hefore a light westerly wind. All ahoard Were Well. Her position was 41.32 degrees south and 26.09 degrees east which gives ,her another 7200 -miles to covef before " she reaches Auckland, across one of, the most deserted.stretches of ocean in the world. Since last week the Pamir has covered 1350 miles, averaging ahout nine knots. If all goes well she is expected to reach Auckland about August 10 or 11. The harque will nof follow the traditional windjammer track soufch of Tasmania but will head north into the Great Australian Bight and pass through Bass Strait when south of Australia.
