Judging Of Calf And Lamb Competitions

At the annual meeting of the Horowhenna Boys' and Girls' Agriculturai Club on Wednesday night the dates on which the preliminary jpdging of entries in its calf and lamb rearing.pompetitions this year were diseussed. It .was suggested by ■one member that the Muhunoa and Ohau sehools "should be judged on the one day, as this wouid elimin-. ate unnecessary travelling. After some discussion, it was decided to take action along these lines. The dates were then allotted as follows: — Monday, November 15: Manakau, 1.30 p.m. . Wednesday, .jNovember 17: Reikor-; angi, 9.30 a.m.; Waikanae, 10.30 a.m. ; Paraparaumu, 1.30 p.m. ' Friday, November 19: Otaki, 1.30 p.m. Monday, November 22: Te Horo, 1.30 p.m. Wednesday, November 24: Levin, 10.30 a.m.; Poroutawhao, 1.30 a.m. Thursday, November 25: Koputaroa, 1.30. p.m. Friday, November 26: Makerua, 10.30 a.m.; Shannon, 1.30 p.m. Monday, November 29: Opiki, 10.30 a.m.; Poroutawhao, 1.30 p.m. Wednesday, December 1: Muhunoa, 10.30 a.m.; Ohau, 1.30 p.m. Friday, December 3: Final judging at Levin School, 11 a.m. The following is the list of supervisors appointed by the club for the district: — Levin south: Messrs.
