Mills; of Kingston Road, will regret to learn that she has found it necessary to enter the Palmerston North Hospitai for treatmerit, • All join in wishing her a speedy recovery. _ / • Card Winners In spite of the cold evening there a full "muster of - piayers at Laurvig's Hall on Mond'ay evening, when the Poutu Pah committee held another of its popular card evenings. The prize- winners were Messrs. Moore, Senr., and T. Nepia and Mrs. W. Third. Social Afternoon . Members of the Women's Bowling Club "and Croquet Club gathered at the residence of Mrs. F. Edmonds, Stout' Street, on a recent afternoon when cards and table croquet were enjoyed. Tht.prizewinners 'were Mesdames. Hjggie/ D; Aitchison, C. Stern, I. Peni, S. Morrison' and J. T. Bovis. An encoiiraging collection towards club funds, resulted. ' •
