Deer-stalker's Night In The Open
After spending a day in the hills behind Snannon, two deer-stalkers separated to return to the road over different tracks. Having waited for some time, the first to arrive out, ^thinking his co'mpanion had left for home, made his way back to Shannon. When the seeond person failed to make his appearance late-in the night the local. police were notified. However, it was foun'd that the stalker had shot a deer on his way out and after skinning it, discovered that darkness' was falling so decided to femain the night in the hills. Although the night was very cojd, he spent it comfortably -vVrapped in the skin of the deer he had just shot. He was on his way out when a party arrived at the foothills in the morning, none the worse for his adventur^
