ISOLATED DUNEDIN CASE
DUNEDIN, July 5. The lirst case of poliomyelitis — a child of 11 months — reported iu the Dunedin Health District since July 1, 1947, has been admitted to the hospital. The niedical authorities said today that this was one of the isolated cases which were bound to occur sooner or later. In fact, tlie city's period of immunity had been much longer than usual.
