Shannon Miniature Rifle Club's Shoot
Twenty-five ' members of tne Shannon Miniature Rlfle Ciub gathered in the Druids' Hall on Wednesday evening for the club's weekly practice- shoot. Messrs J. Lucinsky (97) and G. Kennard (88) were the winners of the seiuor competition for "Alf's Buttons" and P. Wilkinson (58) won the junior section. Taking the average over the past few weeks, the standara of shooting has greatly improved, especially among the Junior members. Details of Wednesday evening's scores were as foilows: — Senior (possible 100) : J. Lucinsky 97, J. Ryan 93, V. Guerin 92, A. Birss 92, P. Third 91, A Judd 91, I. Hemmingsen 90, M. Moynihan 89, G. Kennard 88, F. Hobbs- 86, C. San'ds 84, J. Hemmingsen 83, P.- Wadsworth 82, J. Birss 81, B. Lee 81, E. Jones 80, J. Harper 78, T. Gardner 74 and G. Sherman 20. Junior section (possible 70) : P. Wilkinson 58, J. Moore 58, K. Ro'poama 56, P. Ropoama 47, G. Robinson 38 and C. Robinson 32.
