Beryl Beyan, in white satin apd lace with full-flowihg s'k'irt aua tight bodice with wnite lace yoke inset, pr-esented b.y- Mrs. H- Tenr nant; Miss Dorothy Butt, in spotted prgand'ie over- white taffeta, Ipw waisted effect with very iuii skirt, presented by her mother,- Mrs. R. Bptt; Miss Lois Frankiin, in . cream eipbossed net over satin, Victorian styie with fichu neckhne, presentea py her mpther, Mrs. S. C. Frankiin; Miss Betty Darris.on, in white pemberg silk, trimmed with full fiqunces and sequins, presented qy Mrs. N. M- Thomspn; M|ss Mae Harrison, in white hemb'erg silh, with sequin trimmed flounces, presented by Mrs. K. Black; Miss Netta Holder, in white- silk moire crepe, long waisted wiuh bustle eirect and gathered skirt, presented by Mrs. L. B. Coles; Miss Lapra Niqholson, in white taffeta gown, bodice with effective panels of embroidered net, presented by Mrs. H. Denton; Miss Mar-garet Prende.ville, in low-, waisted Swiss printed organdie with yoke of tulle and very bquftant skirt, presented by her sister, Mrs. Polkinghorne; Miss. Hadine Theveiiard, in wbite . satin bopice, f'Uii embossed satin skirt, period sty^e, with heart-shaped neckline gnd tulip sleeves, presented by her mother, Mrs. Thevenard; Miss Hazel Spiers, in white Swiss embossed organdie, over satin, fiowing three-tiered skirt, each tier eftectively trimmed with vandyked pqints pf satin, presented by Her mpther,1' Mrs. Spiers. An added attraction was tne presentatipn of a minuet -in period costume, performed by Misses Para Hills; - Parn . Marshall,' Para- Bell, A-nn'e Dentoh;! Isabel ' Paterson, Acushla- Quinn, A-lison Todd ana Joan Mofiat.'. ■ They were partnerea by' lylessrs. R. Dpnton', T". Thomas, A. Bell, G. Lankshearj J. Goodwin, M. Fox,^ P, Frederickson' and A. Thompson. The charm and grace of other periods won iristant appr qy ah and .....was .appreQiatively encored. Mrs. Elliott, of the Jean Scott Schoo.l of Dancing, deserves full credit.. for reviying- such a delightfql dance. Mrs. S.. J:, Thpnipsbn had planned the decorationl^ in which the blue and -white . colpurs pf the National Party featured p'rominently. . Tne s.etting -pyoved :exceedingly" attractiye and Fa's the subject of freqiient ' commend'ation. , Supper arrangements were expe'ditiousiy planned. Already the committee is planning for next winter to cope wltn the growing attrqcrtion qf- what is now recognised as one of 'the leadirig social functions in Levin's calendar. .
