Whale Chasing An Exciting Experience
WELLINGTON, June 30. " Quite one of the most exciting ex•periehces of my life, " was how the United Btates Minister, Mr. R. G. Bcotten, described a weelc-end visit to the whale 'ehasers in Cook Strait. "Normally, if one want^d an experience like I had, one would have to go to the Antarctic for it but here ih Wellington one can obtain it i'ight at the front doorstep, " Mr. Scotte'n added. Tlie chaser Mr. Scotten travelled on cuptured two wlialcs while he was aboard and another vessel caught a further two. The Minister, who has been in many parts of tho world,, said he had nCver seen anything quite so exciting and he retui'ned full of admiration for the dexterity and skill of the ehasers' crews.
