Regent Hall Soon To Have New Look

Details of substantial alterations to be made td the interior bf the Regeht Hall were given by the Mayor, Mr. H. B. Biirdekin, when speaking last night at a social conducted by the Horowhenua Marching Association. They are: TO GO: The present cicakrooms, storeroom apd photography studio, and the large kitcnen. TO BE ADDED: A large supper room which can also be used for small dances and social functions, new cloak rooms and a soft drink bar. The supper room will be situated at the eastern end of the hall, incorporating the . , present cloak rooms and private photography rooms, and when iinished it should seat about 140 persons. A small kitchen will be attached and the existing kitchen will be converted into cloak rooms. The ^present seiwery will be used for the soft drink bar. Mr. Burdekin added that he was confident all the leaks in the roof had been stopped,- but it had been a long and diflicult job.
