Dornan Awarded Bout
DUNEDIN, June 21. Noel Dornan, Palmerston North, 10.13, was awarded a professionai iniddlevveight boxing contest in the Town. Hall to-night, wheu Harry Jlanson, Wellington, 10.12, was unable to continue at tlie end of tlie iil'th roimd. Dornan opened a gash above Hanson 's eye in tlie secoud round in whicli Dornan also received a bump on the liead in a clinch. Hanson was examined by a doetor who advised tliat lie was uniit to carrv on. The bout was awarded to Dornan who was then well ahead on points.
