SHANNON DEFEAT OTAKI-RAHUI
Under ideal weather conditions and before a good attendance qf spectators, Shannon seniors defeated Otaki-Rahui by 14 points to 0 on the Shannon Domain. Although play generally was not of a high standard, there were times when good football was witnessed. For the honie team Heer, Sayer, Wood, Anderson and the newcomer, Rgiiensen, gave good support to the forwards, while Tritt piayed an excellent game at the halfback pqsition. Mbynihah and MQrtimer added strehpi'tfi to ^he back line. Shannon's fourteen points were made up of-a penalty kick by N, Caileseh, tnes by C. Mortlmer, R. Anderson and A. Wood, ape of which was converted by Callesen.
