WELLINGTON, June 19. Eric Ambler, whose scripts have been handled by Hollywood for so many years, turned producer to bring his own story, "The October Man," to the screen in England, . The film was made for Two Cities at Denham Studios under Ihe direction of Roy Baker. It is a subtle psychological crime story told against a background of unglamorous reali-ty. -
James Mills takes the leading role, that of a maii whose mind is slightly unhinge'd in a bus accident in whieh his littl-e daughter is killed. He is accused of a murder and, because of his mental condition, is unable to convince himself that he had not committed the crime.
