Bateman reported on their interview with the district supervisor of the Department of Housing Construction. The delay in completing the four units on the corner of Ballance and Margaret Streets, especially the two with roofs on, were. placed before Tiim. The supervisor said that the delay was on account of roofing materials and drainage, but an officer would be sent to Shannon to confer with the contractor, with.a view to having an ear'ly completion of the dwellings, and .would write *the council when the report was received.
