Levin And Weraroa Table Tennis Game
The Levin Table Tennis Club were on Tuesday night challenged by the Weraroa Ciub, the games being played in the Drill Hall, Levin. Both teams were in good form and some" -excellent play was seen, Levin winning both women's and men's matches, 11 — 5 and 9 — 7 r-espectively. All matches were played in singles, each player having four games. During the evening 'the club captain tlianked the Weraroa team lor attending, and said he hoped that another match would be arranged in" the near future. The Weraroa club captain said in. reply that he wou'id be pleased to see a match between the B and C teams. He also thanked the Levin Club for entertaining his team. After sup- i per the remainder of the evening was confined to doubles.
