Postal Deliveries In Otaki
"PAR
AVION."
(To the Editor) Sir,— One wouid think that those people resident in the township area would i^ceive their mail before those living at the extreme end, but such is not the case. Aotaki, Iti and Rangatira Streets are • the . last on the postman's round. Of late we have not even had our mail delivere'd within a • reasonable time, and wait as late as' 3 apd 4 p.m. for our letters. For those depending on money orders, postal notes, cash vouchers, etc., as a source of income, it means great inconvenience, especially when one has to dash to the post office before the money order branch closes at 4 p.m. Fofmerly the postman carried out his round in Aotaki, -Iti and Rangatira Streets between noon and 2 p'.m., which was most satisfactory, but -at- present his irregularity is rather surprising for such an important n.ational organisation as1 the post office. Yours etc.,
Otaki, June 16.
