Pamir Now In the South Atlantic
WELLINGTON, June 14. The barque Pamir bound for Auckland is now in the Nouth Atlantic approximately 1080 miles west of St. Helcna, according to a radio message received bv the Fnion Steam Ship Companv. The Paiuir was getting the bencfit of tlie fresh southeast trade winds and had made a da.v's run of 1S3 jnilcs. She lias covered 441.) miles since leaving Antwerp. Everyone aboard is well. Her positiori last week was slightly north of the Equator, so in the intervening seven days she liad crossed the line and sailed 837 miles southwards She is expected to reach Auckland about August 8.
